   Principal’s Message:

    Hello Montessori Families!

    I am Dr. Djinga St. Louis, Principal of Montessori Academy School #53. I am pleased to serve as building leader, community partner, parent and caregiver advocate.    Montessori Academy has been a public educational haven for the Rochester City School District for over 40 years with a unique focus on the facilitation of guiding students to work independently, think critically, and problem-solve harmoniously. The teachers and staff work in concert to ensure that students are safe to express curiosity while being educated using high-quality instruction and culturally responsive pedagogy. I am very happy and humbled to lead this school and support growing roots deeply in the 19th Ward Community.
